Brenda K. Eckstein, Esq. is “Of Counsel” to Mack & Associates, PLLC. Ms. Eckstein practices exclusively in matrimonial and family law, concentrating on custody, divorce, domestic violence, and child support. In addition, she is a trained mediator, with extensive experience in both divorce and custody mediation.
Ms. Eckstein has been mediating divorce and custody matters for more than 20 years. She has completed a Divorce and Custody course with the Center for Mediation and Training, as well as advanced training in custody and family matters. She currently serves on the Third and Fourth Judicial District’s Roster of Mediators.
Ms. Eckstein served as a confidential Court Attorney in Albany County Family Court and Albany County Supreme Court for 25 years. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Science from Union College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Business Administration from Rollins College. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Eckstein worked in nursing and in medical management.
Ms. Eckstein, originally from Long Beach, New York, has lived in Columbia County since 1990.
